USGBC-CA's California Green Building Conference is the state’s premier gathering for sustainability leaders, innovators, and changemakers. More than 1,000 professionals from across industries, including architecture, design, engineering, construction, policy, education, and community leadership, come together under one roof for a dynamic day of networking, learning, and inspiration.
In this training, building owners, operators, and consultants will learn how to set up and easily populate data into a free Measurabl account. Once your data is populated, you’ll be able to use the free tool’s functionality to check and improve the quality of your data, so it’s ready for submission and complies with local and state benchmarking ordinances.
We will walk you through setting up a free account and quickly establishing a bidirectional sync with ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® (as well as highlighting upload options for those not using Portfolio Manager). Then you’ll learn how the Measurabl tool’s additional layer of Data Quality Control (detecting gaps and outliers) can aid in further improving your data, as well as how its regulatory visibility function quickly identifies which of your buildings are subject to specific local and state ordinances. Finally, we’ll briefly review what comes next for compliance and share information on future training opportunities.
This follow-up session dives into the practical mechanics of meeting California’s local and state benchmarking ordinance deadlines. We will start by demystifying the filing process.
But compliance is just the baseline. We will also explore how to transform your compliance data into actionable insights like identifying energy spikes and tracking performance against global benchmarks. Move beyond compliance and start using your benchmarking data to drive building efficiency and financial benefit.
Multifamily building owners and managers are invited to join USGBC California for a practical discussion on the evolving policy landscape for multifamily buildings in the City of Los Angeles.
This webinar will explore current and upcoming requirements related to benchmarking, building performance, electrification, energy efficiency, financing, and retrofit pathways. Participants will gain insight into how local and state policies are shaping building operations, compliance planning, and long-term asset strategy.
Participants will also have opportunities to share their own feedback and requests to inform policy and program decisions ahead.
The session will also introduce USGBC California’s new pilot program for multifamily properties, offering no-cost support for building owners pursuing electrification, efficiency, and clean energy upgrades.
