Riverside has been awarded funding to launch a new program that helps residents, businesses, and community organizations upgrade their buildings with energy-saving and climate-friendly improvements. Together, we can make Riverside a cleaner, healthier place to live. Come be part of this community effort!

Areas of Focus:
Building efficiency and electrification for lower energy costs
Improved indoor air quality, cooling, and occupant health
Solar and/or batteries for energy savings and back-up power
Electric Vehicle charging to improve access
Workforce training and career opportunities in building retrofits, renewables, and financing
Opportunities:
Households, particularly lower-income households
Affordable housing providers
Privately Owned Multifamily Apartment Buildings
Retail, Office, and Industrial or Manufacturing Buildings
Community-Based Organizations, including faith-based institutions
Educational Institutions (Pre-School, K-12, Community, and Upper)
Community facilities
Financial Institutions, Community Partners, and other Stakeholders: Help Us Develop This Program
Our goal is to develop a public-private partnership plan using a whole-community approach to accelerate investment in clean energy buildings in Riverside.
